About
How will my hospital be adequately covered?
Will response times suffer if your physicians get too busy with other hospitals on shift?
No, response times will not suffer. Staffing is based on a TeleSpecialists staffing model designed to assure adequate physician coverage in addition to an Administrator-On-Call physician available. This multi-layered system assures consistent rapid response from our neurologists, through demand peaks and valleys, day or night, on weekdays or during the weekend or holidays.
How do you arrange for handoffs? Transfers?
TeleSpecialists’ physicians coordinate with your in-person physicians/transfer centers to assure a smooth sign-off transfer per hospital protocols set in place during the Rapid Improvement Workshop.
Do your physicians collaborate with other physicians at the hospitals?
Yes, our physicians work hand in hand with in-person physicians to ensure continuity of care.
