Acute Stroke Workup for ED and IM Physicians, and Other Healthcare Providers
Neurologist Dr. Renata Chalfin discusses the importance of acute stroke workup for determining the etiology of a patient’s acute stroke. Dr. Chalfin will thoroughly review the rationale for each test and discuss the next steps after receiving the tests results.

Presenter Biography:
Dr. Renata Chalfin is a board-certified neurologist. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology and education from Cornell University. She completed her medical education at the University of Central Florida and her internship and neurology residency at the University of Miami at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
This activity has been submitted to Emergency Nurses Association for approval to award contact hours. Emergency Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
