Fall Prevention
Fall Prevention Awareness is recognized every September. Despite general knowledge of fall prevention protocols, falls continue to occur; with adults aged 65 and older the highest risk. Physicians and nurses have an obligation to identify the risk factors of falling and to implement preventative methods to educate patients, families, and caregivers. Join certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist and Medical Exercise Specialist, Debra Orringer, MS, ACE-MES, ACSM-CEP for a timely webinar on Fall Prevention. She will explore how medical professionals play a critical role in identifying persons at risk for falls and using exercise, nutrition, and environmental awareness to prevent falls. Our Lunch & Learn webinar series now offers complimentary CME credits. Registration is required on our new platform, TeleSpecialists Learning Center. This webinar is available on-demand at TeleSpecialists Learning Center. Thank you!
